THE SCHOOL

Sabari Central School was established in the year 1978. As the years rolled by, the school grew to strength. Soon, it gained reputation as an institution of high standards. To ensure the effective management of the institution the “Cherpalcheri Education Trust” was formed and registered in the year 1984.

After the Trust had taken up the administration, it procured approval of Middle class syllabus from the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, in 1988. Later the school obtained affiliation for secondary classes in 1991 and for Senior Secondary classes in 1993. We presented our first batch of students for the class X examinations, conducted by the CBSE, in 1993 and XII, in 1995.

In October 2000, the Cherpalcheri Education Trust was strengthened by a new team of members joining the Trust under the able leadership of Sri. Shashi Kumar as the Managing Trustee. Thence the Trust has undertaken a number of developmental projects for the school. Infrastructural facilities of the school have been boosted. In addition to the five class rooms added to the main building, the complete building is renovated and the Silver Jubilee Block with twenty eight rooms is in use.
